Just wanted to quickly jump in and just let everyone know that this is my first blog and this is all pretty foreign to me. That being said, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to share what i’m doing in hopes that it can spark a greater conversation or similar work.
First and foremost I want to explain that I work at a correctional facility and that is how I have access to these youth. I have to be sensitive and careful on how I run my groups with these guys and what I say in regards to them as to not break any confidentiality laws. I really feel I can make a difference in the lives of these young men. This is only the beginning of my journey in this capacity. I hope to be expanding my Tabletop Group across my campus and beyond. Thanks for joining me and be patient and understanding as we go down this rabbit hole. If you have any suggestions or comments I would love to hear them.
